UI/UX and brand identity design, made to be built.

Interface design, design systems and brand identity, delivered as something a developer can build rather than a picture of a website. Standalone design is ₹1,500 / $25 an hour in five-hour packs; inside a build it is part of the fixed price. Either way you own the file, the components and the tokens.

The difference

We are a build team that designs, not a studio that hands over a file

Which sounds like a small distinction until the third round of “that is not what the design said”.

A design that has never been built is a hypothesis. It has no hover state, no error message, no empty list, no 47-character product name, and no answer for what happens at 380 pixels wide. Those gaps do not disappear — they get filled in later by whoever is writing the code, at speed, under a deadline.

So we specify them. Every design ships as a component set with states, breakpoints, empty and error cases, and named tokens the code uses directly. The developers implementing it sit on the same team, which means the design gets challenged while it is still cheap to change and implemented as drawn when it is not.

Interfaces

UI/UX design services

Eight deliverables. A small project uses four of them and a product uses all eight.

  • Discovery and user flows

Who is using it, what they came to do, and the shortest honest path between those two things.

  • Information architecture

What lives where, and what the navigation has to be for someone who has never seen it before.

  • Wireframes

Structure argued out in grey boxes, before anyone has feelings about a colour.

  • High-fidelity interface design

The real thing, on real content — not three screens of placeholder text at a comfortable length.

  • Design systems and component libraries

Built in Figma as components with variants, so the fortieth screen costs a fraction of the fourth.

  • Prototypes

Clickable enough to test the flow with a real person, which is cheaper than testing it with a launch.

  • Accessibility from the start

WCAG 2.1 AA contrast, focus states, target sizes and keyboard order designed in rather than patched on.

  • Handoff with tokens

Colour, type, spacing and radius as named values the code uses directly, so the built page matches the file.

Identity

Brand identity design services

Most identity work is specified for print and goes quiet at the screen, which is where nearly all of it is now seen.

Logo and mark

A primary mark, the variants it actually needs, and the smallest size it still works at — which is the one everybody forgets.

Colour system

Not a palette, a system: every foreground and background pairing contrast-tested, with the states and the dark-mode question answered.

Type scale

A ratio and a set of steps that hold from a phone to a wide screen, with real web fonts and licensing that permits the use.

Iconography and imagery

A consistent icon set and a written direction for photography, so the site does not drift the first time someone else adds a page.

A brand guide that covers the web

Most guides specify print and go quiet at the screen. Ours specifies components, states, spacing and the things the site will do that a logo sheet cannot anticipate.

Where design meets the build

Most of this is bought as part of something else: a redesign, a new site, or the interface for a web app. In those, design is scoped with the build and priced inside it.

Bought on its own it is quoted hourly, because a design engagement without a build attached has no natural edge and a fixed price would be a guess dressed as a number.

What it costs

  • ₹1,500 / $25 an hour in five-hour packs, for standalone design work.
  • ₹2,000 / $40 an hour in 40-hour blocks, for agencies buying design capacity.
  • Inside a build — part of the fixed project price, from ₹1,50,000 / $3,900.

Questions

Design questions, answered

What are UI/UX design services?

UX is deciding what the thing does and in what order — flows, structure, what goes on which screen. UI is what it then looks and feels like: layout, type, colour, components and states. In practice they are one job done by the same people, and splitting them into two invoices usually means one of them is not being done.

How much does a UI/UX designer charge?

Standalone design work here is ₹1,500 / $25 an hour in five-hour packs, or ₹2,000 / $40 an hour in 40-hour blocks for agencies. Most of our design is not bought that way though — it is scoped inside a build, where it is part of the fixed price rather than a separate line.

Is UI/UX still in demand?

Yes, and the demand has changed shape. Making screens look considered is now cheap and widely available. What is scarce is someone who can decide what should be on the screen at all, defend it against six opinions, and specify it precisely enough that it gets built the way it was drawn.

Will design tools replace designers?

They have already replaced a lot of the production work, and we use them for exactly that. What they do not do is sit in the room where the trade-off is made — this feature or that deadline, this audience or that revenue — or take responsibility when the flow turns out to confuse real customers. A generated screen is a starting point. Deciding it is the right screen is still the job.

Do you design without building?

Yes, and you own everything: the Figma file, the components, the tokens and the guide, with no licence back to us. We will say honestly that our design is better when we are also building it, because the specification is written for developers we can walk over to. If another team implements it, we will do a handoff call and a build review.

Do you do brand identity as well as interfaces?

Yes, and the two go together more often than not — a redesign that keeps a logo which no longer works is a redesign that will be redone. Branding is a meaningful part of what we do, across a wide spread of clients, and it is usually bought alongside a build rather than on its own.

How long does design take?

For a business website, two to three weeks inside a six-week build. A brand identity is three to four weeks on its own. A design system for a product is longer and is better done in a first pass covering the core, then extended as the product grows, rather than attempting completeness up front.
