Oh My Web

Website redesign services that keep the rankings, the content and the leads.

A redesign with us starts at ₹2,00,000 / $5,900 and takes eight to ten weeks. That covers the audit, the design, the build, moving your content across, and a tested redirect map so every URL you have today still lands somewhere tomorrow. If a page ranked before the relaunch, keeping it ranking afterwards is our job, not your risk.

The audit is the discovery document. You keep it whether or not you hire us.

Do you need one

Signs your website needs a redesign

Most of these are measurable. If three or more are true, the structure is the problem and patching it costs more than replacing it.

  1. 01

    It fails Core Web Vitals

Largest Contentful Paint over 2.5s, layout that jumps while it loads, or taps that take a beat to respond. These are measured, not opinions — and they are template and asset problems, which is to say redesign problems.

  2. 02

It is not usable on a phone

Text you have to pinch, buttons crowded together, forms that scroll sideways. Most of your visitors are on a phone and are being asked to work for it.

  3. 03

    You cannot edit it yourself

Every copy change becomes a support ticket. If publishing a page needs a developer, the site has stopped being a marketing asset and become a bottleneck.

  4. 04

The platform is out of support

An unsupported theme, a page builder nobody maintains, a PHP version past end-of-life. Patching around this costs more each year than replacing it once.

  5. 05

It does not describe what you now sell

Services have moved on, the site has not. New offers are buried in old navigation, and the pages that get traffic are for work you no longer take.

  6. 06

The forms do not reach anyone

Enquiries landing in a spam folder, or in an inbox that nobody has opened since a staff change. Worth checking before you spend anything on traffic.

  7. 07

It looks older than your competitors’

This one is subjective and still real. On a decision-stage page, a site that looks abandoned reads as a business that might be.

  8. 08

There is no analytics, or nobody trusts it

No measurement means no baseline, and no baseline means you cannot tell whether the redesign worked. We install this first, before anything changes.

Cost

What a website redesign costs

From ₹2,00,000 / $5,900. We publish it because the first question on every redesign search is this one, and an agency that makes you book a call to hear a number is wasting your afternoon.

What the price includes

Audit and content inventory
Every existing URL, what it ranks for, what it earns, and what happens to it.
Wireframes
Page structure and content order agreed before anything is designed.
Visual design
Your brand applied as a reusable system — type, colour, spacing, components.
Build
WordPress or Shopify, responsive, with templates your team can actually edit.
Content migration
Copy, images, products, posts and metadata moved across and checked.
Redirect map
Every old URL mapped to a new one, tested, with no chains and no loops.
Launch and 30-day watch
Deployment, then four weeks of monitoring for anything the map missed.

A straight rebuild of a site you are happy with — same design, new platform or host — is not a redesign and is not priced like one. That is a migration, from ₹60,000 / $1,500. A brand-new small site with nothing to migrate is a Business Website at ₹1,50,000 / $3,900, and a store rebuild is Shopify development.

What moves the price up

More than a brochure site
Page count beyond the agreed scope, or multiple languages.
Selling online
Shopify from ₹2,50,000 / $6,500. WooCommerce or custom from ₹2,50,000 / $7,500.
Custom functionality
Portals, dashboards and calculators are web-app work: from ₹9,00,000 / $18,000, scoped by a paid ₹1,00,000 / $1,200 discovery that is credited against the build.
New content
We migrate what you have at no extra cost. Writing, photography and video are quoted separately.

How it is paid

  • 50%AdvanceBefore work begins.
  • 40%Staging approvalWhen you sign off the staging build.
  • 10%LaunchWhen the site is live.

Full pricing for every project and plan is on the pricing page.

The risk

Keeping the rankings you already have

The traffic a redesign loses is almost never lost in the design. It is lost in the URLs nobody mapped. This is the checklist we run, and it is the same one we ran on our own relaunch.

  1. 01We inventory every URL you have from your sitemap, Search Console and server logs — including the ones nobody remembers publishing.
  2. 02Each one is mapped to a destination before the build starts. Nothing is decided on launch day.
  3. 03Redirects are 301, tested one request per row plus a sample of old upload paths, asserting both the status and the final URL. Zero chains, zero loops.
  4. 04Page titles and descriptions are carried across or improved, never dropped. Titles stay under 60 characters, descriptions between 50 and 160.
  5. 05Every image gets alt text. Structured data on the old site is carried to the new one.
  6. 06The sitemap is regenerated from the new route table, submitted, and the old sitemap submission is removed.
  7. 07We take a ranked-keyword baseline the day before launch, then measure again at day 30 and day 90 against it.
  8. 08The Coverage report is checked weekly for the first month. Anything the map missed is fixed within 48 hours.

We do not promise a ranking position, because nobody honestly can. We promise the method above, and a baseline taken before launch so you can hold us to the comparison afterwards.

Process

How a redesign runs

Eight to ten weeks for a brochure site. You approve the content inventory, the wireframes and the staging build — three gates, so nothing large is a surprise at the end.

  1. 01

    Audit

We run the free audit on your current site and turn it into the discovery document. No cost, no commitment.

  2. 02

    Content inventory

Every page listed: keep, rewrite, merge, redirect or remove. You approve the list.

  3. 03

    Wireframes

Structure and content order for every template, agreed before design starts.

  4. 04

    Design

Your brand as a component system, applied to the approved wireframes.

  5. 05

    Build

Templates built on WordPress or Shopify, on a staging site you can see throughout.

  6. 06

    Migration

Content, products and metadata moved across. Redirect map implemented.

  7. 07

    Redirect QA

The whole map tested against the live URL list before anyone touches DNS.

  8. 08

    Launch

Deployment, DNS, sitemap resubmission, analytics verified.

  9. 09

    30-day watch

Weekly checks for missed URLs, broken forms and ranking movement.

  10. 10

    Care plan

Someone owns the site from here. Care Pro is attached by default on a redesign.

Redesign or migrate?

If the design is fine and the problem is the host, the platform or the speed, you want a migration: same site, new foundations, from ₹60,000 / $1,500. If the structure, the content or the way it looks is the problem, you want this page. Plenty of projects are both, and a redesign includes the migration work rather than charging for it twice.

Website migration services

What happens after launch

A new site starts decaying the day it ships — plugins update, certificates expire, forms quietly break. Every redesign comes with Care Pro attached by default at ₹11,999 / $199 a month: updates, backups, monitoring, a staging site and a quarterly speed review. You can decline it. Most of the sites we are asked to rescue are ones where somebody did.

Website care plans

Questions

Redesign questions, answered

How much should a website redesign cost?

Ours start at ₹2,00,000 / $5,900 for a brochure site of roughly ten to fifteen pages, including migration and the redirect map. Below about ₹1,00,000 you are buying a template fill, which is a reasonable thing to buy — just not the same thing. Ecommerce starts higher, at ₹2,50,000 / $7,500, because the catalogue, payments and checkout are the work.

How much does it cost to have someone update your website?

If the site is fundamentally sound and you want it maintained rather than rebuilt, that is a care plan, not a redesign — from ₹4,999 / $79 a month including the update work. A redesign is the right spend when the structure itself is the problem. The audit will tell you which one you have, and it is free.

Is it cheaper to build a website myself?

In cash, yes, and for a simple site with a small catalogue of pages a builder is a sensible answer — we will say so if that is what your audit shows. It stops being cheaper when the site has existing rankings to protect, a migration to survive, or more than one person editing it. That is the point where a rebuild that goes wrong costs more than the build ever did.

How much can I charge for a website redesign?

If you are a freelancer or agency pricing your own work: the honest answer is that the number depends on your market and your risk, not on ours. Our published rate for partner work is ₹2,000 / $40 an hour in 40-hour blocks, which is the floor a UK or US agency would white-label at. We publish our project prices so you can benchmark against them.

How long does a redesign take?

Eight to ten weeks for a brochure site, from the day content is approved. The stage that slips is almost always content, not development — which is why the content inventory happens second, not last.

Do I keep my content?

Yes, unless you want to change it. We migrate copy, images, products, posts and metadata. The inventory marks each page keep, rewrite, merge, redirect or remove, and you approve that list before anything is built.

What happens to my old URLs?

Every one is mapped to a destination and redirected with a 301. We test the whole map before DNS changes, then check for missed URLs weekly for a month after launch. Old URLs are the single most common way a redesign loses traffic, and it is entirely avoidable.

Can you work with our existing brand?

Yes. Most redesigns keep the brand and fix the site. We turn what you already have into a documented component system so it stays consistent as you add pages. If the brand itself needs work we will say so, and quote it separately rather than smuggling it in.

Do you redesign Shopify stores?

Yes — Shopify and WooCommerce both. Store redesigns start at ₹2,50,000 / $6,500 because product data, payments, shipping rules and checkout all have to move intact. The redirect work matters more on a store, not less: every discontinued product URL still needs somewhere to land.

Start with the audit, not the invoice.

We run your current site, send you what is wrong with it and what a rebuild would need to protect, and tell you whether a redesign is actually the right spend. It is free, and it is yours either way.
